Are you ready to finish strong?

While looking for the "reading machines” for our post last Friday, we also found some 1954 images from finals week in the Colorado Daily. At least we no longer refer to it quite so crudely as “Blood and Guts” week as was mentioned in this caption: “It’ll take more than personality training to those final stumbling blocks, beginning tomorrow. Word has it that the faculty is pushing an all-out drive in its semi-annual ‘Blood and Guts’ week.”

While preparation for finals week continues to be an intense time of focus, the campus makes an effort to support students, as seen in the Finals Events throughout campus such as the CommuniTea and Finals Care Kits offered in the Libraries. There are also tips to manage stress and resources such as Counseling and Psychiatric Services, the Ombuds Office, the Office of Victim Assistance and Student Support Services to assist students who may be in distress or experiencing difficult life circumstances.
