6 ways to enhance your Culture Crawl experience on Oct. 8
1. Pop-in between classes, most events are drop-in and you can participate anytime
Culture Crawl events are at least a couple hours long and you are welcome to join whenever your schedule allows.
2. Grab a map and schedule to help navigate and plan your day
Maps and schedules are available on the Culture Crawl website and at each of the events making it easy for you to find and go to various activities.
3. Attend an event early to get the t-shirt of your choosing
Each event has t-shirts in black or blue ready to give away. Attending an event early gives you better odds of getting your preferred t-shirt size and color. But, don’t worry. If you can’t get the right one at the first event, you can always try again at another event later in the day.

4. Bring your Buff OneCard or smart device. Raffle prizes will be awarded
This year’s prizes include a University Libraries branded Topo Light backpack, a Fiske Planetarium membership, Ralphie Lego kits and several other items like tote bags, t-shirts, art kits, books and more. To enter the raffle, swipe in to certain events with your Buff OneCard or bring a smart device to check in via QR code.
5. Invite a friend or engage with someone new
Culture Crawl is a great opportunity to socialize. Engaging in an activity with someone can make it a whole lot easier to start a conversation. Try asking a question or commenting on the activity such as “I love your lantern" or “which tea is your favorite?”
6. Visit a place you like? Ask a staff member for more upcoming events or ways to engage.
Culture Crawl organizations have a lot of cool activities going on all year round. If you enjoyed spending time at one of the events, ask a staff member about their other programming.
