Commemorate MLK Day: Resources and engagement opportunities from the University Libraries
Martin Luther King Jr. addresses a crowd from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial where he delivered his famous, “I Have a Dream,” speech during the Aug. 28, 1963, march on Washington, D.C.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Jan. 20 and the University Libraries have created a MLK Day resource guide to share resources and engagement opportunities available to the CU Boulder community.
The guide is designed for anyone interested in learning more about Martin Luther King, Jr. and the rich history of the civil rights movement. It contains resources for research and instruction, opportunities for action and engagement locally and nationally, resources for addressing racial trauma, recommendations for books, films, podcasts and media about the life of Rev. Dr. King, and history of MLK Day.
