About the Culture Crawl

The Culture Crawl is a program run collaboratively by CU Boulder arts and culture units, academic departments and student groups. Its mission is to help students—particularly first-year students—discover the arts and heritage units, academic programs and organizations on campus and the many opportunities they offer students to engage in leadership, belonging and academic endeavors. Its signature outreach and entry point for students is the one-day Culture Crawl held in the fall inviting the campus community to participate in 15-plus events across campus.

What We’re Looking For

A CU Boulder-affiliated graphic designer who can produce a dynamic, visually appealing t-shirt design that captures the essence of CU Boulder’s vibrant arts and culture programs. The design must adhere to a strict 2 color palette (the t-shirt color could serve as a 3rd) and follow CU Boulder merchandise and brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • A portfolio showcasing your previous work in graphic design, especially t-shirt and event-related designs.
  • Ability to work within specific design guidelines, including using a limited color palette (2-3 colors).
  • Ability to adapt and revise the design based on feedback.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of branding, with the ability to design within the framework of CU Boulder’s brand.
  • A current CU Boulder student, faculty, staff or recent alum.

Stipend

The selected designer will receive a $1,500 stipend for their work on the t-shirt design.
