The new OneSearch is here
The University Libraries is updating the main online library search as part of a planned move to a new library services platform, the Future Of Libraries Is Open (FOLIO). The new OneSearch will launch the week of June 20 and will offer a cleaner, more modern search of the catalog and a new look for the search bar. OneSearch provides advanced personalization features such as project folders, saved searches and results, in addition to current functionality such as searching for books, articles and other resources. It will also provide more options for integrating book check outs and hold functionality when we move to FOLIO in 2023.
FOLIO is funded in part through the Financial Futures program.
How does this change affect me?
- New personalization features (sign-in required):
The new OneSearch allows searching for materials via guest access. You can get access the advanced features, such as downloading, saving, citing, and organizing resources, by signing in using your IdentiKkey. - Faculty should update OneSearch permalinks:
Permalinks currently used in syllabi, courses, and elsewhere will no longer work, effective July 2022. Faculty will need to update any permalinks they are using to point to the new OneSearch. Please contact us at libera@colorado.edu for assistance in migrating your links to function within the new interface. Examples of these links:- https://go.exlibris.link/2P2XFCFK
