The Leonard H. Gemmill Engineering, Math, & Physics Library reopens on Jan. 8, 2026 as a refreshed, welcoming space. Here are some great ways to take advantage of the library:

  • Comfortable soft seating and plenty of tables to spread out.
  • The computer lab features the same software as the computers in the Engineering Center labs, like Anaconda Python, Git Client, MatLab, Visual Studio Code and more.
  • The service desk covers your essentials: check out and return books, grab course reserves, and borrow/return technology items like chargers, headphones and calculators.
  • Get your holds delivered to Gemmill, or to any Libraries location.
  • Browse the collections in person and let serendipity guide you.
  • Plan a visit, you don’t need an excuse to check out the space.
  • Pass it on! Tell your friends, students and colleagues.
