Javier Zamora, award-winning poet and activist, will join the campus for a conversation about his book, Solito: A Memoir, as the culminating event of this year's Buffs One Read.

We defend access to diverse information and viewpoints, and we support the freedom to seek and express ideas. Reach out to Katerina Allmendinger for instructional expertise on and around banned books and look for events we're hosting in April 2025.

We are excited to offer five research fellowships to support scholars who wish to use archives, rare books, maps, and government documents from our Rare and Distinctive Collections (RaD). Submit your applications by Sunday, March 2, 2025.

The Open Educator Award recognizes CU educators who demonstrate exemplary use of open educational resources (OER) in their classrooms or teaching practice. Nominations, including self nominations, will be accepted until midnight on Feb. 12, 2025.

Your subject librarian works with the School of Education to build collections to support your programs and they are experts on information sources and services in their subject areas. Contact your subject librarian to:

• Suggest a library purchase to add titles not already held by the University Libraries
• Request a Library Research Seminar to schedule a class visit
• Discuss strategies to integrate information literacy into your courses
• Book a consultation to learn the most useful library tools, techniques and databases for your research
