Request a Research Seminar

As a campus partner in the educational mission of the University of Colorado Boulder, we provide library instruction and information literacy seminars for faculty and students.

Library seminars are available during regularly scheduled class times and should be arranged a minimum of two weeks in advance. We accept requests for research seminars through the forms listed below.

Please select the description which best describes your class to submit your request. Email liblearn@colorado.edu with any questions.

We’re committed to intentional partnerships between librarians, curricular designers, faculty and students in order to create learning opportunities that cultivate information literacies and creative thinking. In-person classes

In-person requests are typically held in library classrooms based on capacity and room availability. In some instances, librarians may visit regularly scheduled class spaces.

Virtual classes

Requests may be made for virtual sessions regardless of regular class meeting modality. If you request a virtual library seminar, you will receive a Zoom link when we confirm your request. For the optimal learning experience and interaction with the librarian, students are asked to join the session remotely from personal devices.
