Buffs One Read

- The book, by Javier Zamora, was selected as best fitting this year’s theme of Courage.
- Alvarado was awarded a $500 prize for her video entitled, “There's Always More to Life Than We May Think.”
- Reverend Nontombi Naomi Tutu will be joining us as a guest speaker for the Buffs One Read and the Mindful Campus Program.
- Share an essay, original artwork or multimedia reflection that responds to or celebrates the themes in The Book of Joy for a chance to win $500. Submissions are due by 12 p.m. on February 5.
- Attend a screening of Mission Joy, take part in a guided compassion practice with Thupta Jinpa, and find resources for compassion at Norlin Library, the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, the Contemplative Resource Center and other campus partners.
