- The Laughing Goat Endowed Scholarship recognizes the unique contributions Libraries’ and Laughing Goat student employees have made to fulfill and advance its mission and values.
- CU’s American Music Research Center and University Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections recently acquired materials from Otis Taylor, an internationally renowned and Boulder-based blues banjo player.
- The Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship (CRDDS) has joined the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH) as a cooperating partner, making CU Boulder the second institution to do so outside of Europe.
- This campus-wide event features 15 free and engaging arts and culture events including art exhibitions, musical performances, art-making, prize giveaways and more.

- The University Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections Archives has acquired the papers of Matthew Fox, a progressive theologian who began his career in the Catholic Church and later established the Creation Spirituality movement.
- Experimental filmmakers Ken and Flo Jacobs donated written materials from their multi-decade career in New York’s avant-garde and experimental film community to the University Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive (RaD) Collections.
- Taj Dehart, Livia Follet and Emily Reynolds were awarded a $500 prize for their essays based on this year’s Buffs One Read selection, “Braiding Sweetgrass.”
- Five University Libraries student employees will receive a 2022-23 Laughing Goat Endowed Scholarship in recognition of their unique contributions in fulfilling the mission of the Libraries.
- The University Libraries are now accepting applications for an apprenticeship and two fellowship opportunities. Work with library mentors to gain professional experience during the spring 2023 semester. Applications are due December 4, 2022.
