Libraries locations
Our locations on campus provide a variety of spaces and services to support learning and research. The Gemmill Engineering, Math & Physics Library is closed for renovations.
The largest library on campus, Norlin houses humanities, social sciences and life sciences collections, Rare and Distinctive Collections, Norlin Commons and more.
The William M. White Business Library are here to help you with all your business research needs.
Located in the Benson Earth Sciences building, we offer materials in Earth and Environmental Sciences, Geology and Physical Geography.
The Howard B. Waltz Music Library houses one of the largest and most important music research collections in the Mountain West.
Study spaces
Across our four library locations, you'll find a variety of study spots to suit a range of needs and moods. All libraries have open study areas as well as group study rooms that can be reserved or may be available first-come, first-serve.

We have a variety of ways we can support your scholarship, from guides to in-person help.
The Ask a Librarian Desk is located in Norlin on the 2nd floor and available via email or IM. We're here to help with your research and course assignments.
Find the information you need for your research.
We offer personal research consultations to help you refine and focus research topics, develop successful search strategies and identify appropriate sources for academic research projects and assignments.
Course reserves—both physical and electronic—have textbooks, readings, streaming film and more being taught in courses. Find out if your classes have materials on reserve.
The CU Boulder Writing Center is an academic support service that offers writers from all academic disciplines and skill levels the opportunity to work one-on-one with professionally trained writing consultants.
Rare and Distinctive Collections includes rare books, the archives, government information and the map collection. Visit our reading room or request specialized research assistance.
This easy-to-use facility is equipped with video and audio recording technologies for you to create videos, podcasts, etc.
Undergraduates and graduates may borrow a locker in Norlin Library for up to six months.
Technology
Beyond books and media, we have a variety of items you can borrow with your Buff OneCard.
You may borrow a variety of multimedia equipment, including cameras, audio equipment, tripods and smartphone accessories from Norlin's East Desk.
Chargers are available at all locations. Headphones are available at all locations except Norlin's Ask a Librarian Desk.
Students can check out iClickers for a semester at a time at the Norlin Library East Service Desk.
