Job Description:
Work at the Libraries! We’re seeking work-study students to be part of our public-facing teams at these locations:
- Business Library
- Earth Sciences & Map Library
- Engineering, Math & Physics Library
Daytime available at Business Library and Engineering, Math & Physics Library. Daytime and evening shifts available at Earth Sciences & Map Library. Shifts may be as short as 1 hour - we will schedule your work shifts around your classes.
Students in this role will primarily work at the circulation desk of the library checking items in/out and answering questions, as well as in the stacks shelving materials and maintaining the collection. Job duties will differ slightly depending on location, but experience in this role at any library branch will prepare you for future work in libraries or public-facing work in other disciplines, and give you work experience you can take into any career.
