Weekly Hours: 3-10 depending on the size of the work-study grant, chances for more in future semesters.

Hours/Shifts Available: Security is open during all building hours. Shifts are available on Tuesdays from 4 to midnight and some weekday mornings from 7 to 10 AM.

Work-study Grant Required: Yes

Job Description:

Guards will be in charge of maintaining the safety of Norlin, its users, and its collections. Regular tasks include: opening and closing the building, safety patrols, and assisting the members of the CU community. Hours are dependent on grant size and availability. This role is responsible for responding to emergencies, but will always have a supervisor to help.

Light studying is allowed upon completion of duties.

Desired Qualifications or Skills:

• Customer-service orientation.
• CPR certification (a plus but not required).
