Job Description:

The University Libraries’ Archives seeks an undergraduate student assistant for the position of Archives Reference Assistant. This position reports to the Senior Collections Archivist and will work primarily with the Reference Archivist.  The position will assist the Reference Archivist with researching archival collections for information to fulfill patron requests, fulfilling patron orders for PDF and photocopy reproductions, and pulling and reshelving archival collections used for reference and research, instruction, programs, events, and tours. The Reference Assistant may also assist the Digital Reproductions Manager with locating photographs for patron reproduction orders and with supporting Archives personnel with research projects related to CU’s 150th anniversary. Training will be provided, and the student will learn how to locate and retrieve information within archival collections and fulfill reproduction and shelving of collection materials.  Must work between 10-12 hours per week, between 9am-4pm Mondays-Thursday (Friday hours are not available).  All work will take place onsite in the Archives in Norlin Library.
