Borrowing from Other Libraries

Students, staff and faculty who are currently enrolled or employed at CU Boulder may use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services to request materials. Materials available for request include electronic copies of articles, physical books, microformats and other media. Other affiliates (visiting scholars, etc.) may also be eligible for ILL services according to our borrowing privileges by patron type. Contact cu-ill@colorado.edu for more information.

  • Colorado Law affiliates

The Law Library offers interlibrary loan services and document delivery services for Colorado Law affiliates.

Prospector & MOBIUS Borrowing Update

Due to our library catalog system migration, borrowing through Prospector and MOBIUS has been paused. We are working closely with our partners to resume these services. Until they are resumed, you may be eligible to continue to request through Prospector if you are affiliated with other participating libraries, which include many Colorado public libraries.

Lending to other libraries

We provide interlibrary lending services to libraries and other agencies. Individuals should contact their nearest library to request from us. ILL lending services are also offered by the Law Library.

Institutions may send requests electronically through OCLC or our ILLiad lending portal. First time lending partners should request login credentials. (More information about lending policies for other libraries)
