Prospector Policies

Through this service, current CU-Boulder faculty, staff and students may borrow materials through Prospector consortial catalogs at no cost.

• 70 items may be requested at a time.
• Prospector requests should take five to ten working days for materials to arrive.
• Materials may be picked up and returned at any Libraries location.
• Lost materials will cost $110 ($100 lost book fee plus $10 processing charge).
• Books check out for three weeks with one renewal allowed; Media (DVDs, CDs, videos and sound recordings) check out for one week with no renewals.
• PASCAL bound journals check out for one week with no renewals.*

*There is a $410 ($400 lost book fee plus $10 processing charge) lost volume fee for PASCAL journals.
