Requesting an assigned space
Graduate students may request a carrel or locker in the Norlin Graduate Suite. Upon application, you will be added to the queue. If you are not assigned a carrel, your application remains on our waitlist. If you are assigned a carrel, you will receive an email with information on picking up a key. You will have the option to request a renewal one time by emailing libraries@colorado.edu; if you request this renewal prior to returning your key, you may continue to use your assigned locker through the summer. After one renewal, you must reapply and your name will be placed on the waiting list queue.
If you do not wish to renew, but would like to continue to use your assigned carrel or locker through the end of the summer session, you may request an extension by emailing libraries@colorado.edu prior to the end of the spring semester.
Once your reservation period has ended, return keys by May 31. If keys are not returned on time, you may accrue fines and your items will be removed from the previously assigned space. If you have questions, wish to request an extension, or wish to renew, please email us at libraries@colorado.edu.
