The CU Boulder Libraries Archives, part of Rare and Distinctive Collections, hold unpublished manuscripts, original film and photographs, university and organizational records, and more. Most material centers around campus, local, or regional history. Note our Statement on Potentially Harmful Language in Archival Description.
Archival collections are non-circulating; we are happy to consult with you about accessing materials via our Reading Room (information about visiting and using our collections). We offer research guides, tours and in-person and virtual instruction.

Jamie Wagner
Jamie Marie Wagner oversees archival film and video material in the Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections, as well as collections related to media history and experimental media production.
Jennifer Sanchez
Jennifer Sanchez is responsible for the Library’s Rare and Distinctive Collections photographic resources, and works to preserve, locate and make these materials available to any audience.
Megan Friedel
Megan K. Friedel is Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder Libraries, where she serves as Head of Distinctive Collections & Institutional Memory and Senior Collections Archivist for the CU Boulder Libraries' Archives.
