The Libraries have a large collection of books, journals, scholarly articles and so much more available to you for your research assignments. Browse the Library Catalog or drop a query into OneSearch to get your search started. For even more books: Check out our Interlibrary loan services or Prospector which allows borrowing from libraries nationally and worldwide.

3. Course textbooks for check out

Don’t want to buy the textbook or leave your course reading at home? Our Course Reserves service may have your textbooks at a library service desk that you can check out for a few hours. See if your instructor put their course texts on reserve.

5. Library events and exhibits

This spring, the Libraries have several events and exhibits to look forward to. Buffs One Read author Dave Isay is visiting campus on Feb. 25, 2026 at 3:30 in the CASE Auditorium. In mid-April, our One Seed program is distributing CU Boulder’s red sunflower seeds for you to grow your very own sunflowers.

For exhibitions, catch the bioluminescent tail-end of the Desire Lines: Charting Firefly Love and Light at the Earth Sciences & Map Library exhibit through the end of February 2026. Going up soon in Norlin Library, the exhibit Turtle Talk: Coming out of Your Shell & Building Community will display photographic prints of Indigenous students at CU Boulder.
